Becoming a GAF® Master Elite™ isn’t easy for a roofing contractor in Auburn, but it helps ensure that every roof installation we work on is up to GAF’s stringent quality standards. And with several GAF awards, certifications, and specialties under our belt, Tedrick’s Roofing is proud to continue our dedication to our customers.
GAF Master Elite Certification
Before we got to qualify for our awards and certifications, we first had to earn the GAF Master Elite designation. Let’s take a quick look at the requirements:
- Proper Licenses — This means a contractor must be properly licensed in cities where a contractor license is required. Tedrick’s Roofing is one such contractor, having a City of SeaTac business license that allows us to perform roofing work in the area.
- Adequate Insurance — Workers’ compensation protects the homeowner if any of our workers get injured, while liability protects the homeowner from damage we might cause.
- Have a Proven Reputation — Tedrick’s Roofing is a family owned business, and has been the best and safest choice for roofing in Kent, WA, and surrounding areas. For over 25 years, we have earned a reputation for quality work, dependability, fairness, and going above and beyond to satisfy our customers.
- Committed to Ongoing Professional Training – Workers’ skills are like knives; they must be kept sharp at all times. By receiving periodic training from GAF, we ensure our commitment to quality installations.
Given such stringent requirements, it’s not surprising that only 3% of all roofing contractors in the country qualify as Master Elite contractors. Over our years of roofing homes in the SeaTac area, we have earned certifications and awards from GAF, such as:
Training Excellence Award
Our exceptional commitment to ongoing technical training and continuous improvement has earned us the Training Excellence Award. This means that our workers’ skill sets are as sharp as ever, and each roof we work on receives equally updated, quality workmanship.
Certified Green Roofer
The Certified Green Roofers certification indicates our commitment to sustainable practices, and requires passing a written test and completing a Sustainability Assessment. Being a certified Green Roofer requires a commitment to recycling shingles if they live in a state where recycling is available.
Habitat For Humanity Roofer
As a Habitat for Humanity’s “Community Contractor”, we have participated in at least two Habitat for Humanity projects a year — with at least one reroofing project — since earning our designation. We work with a local Habitat for Humanity chapter, offering roofing support as needed. We donate our time and labor to demonstrate our commitment to our local community and helping those in need.
Tedrick’s Roofing is proud to bring the high quality of roofing in Des Moines that these certifications entail. If you would like to know more, call us today at (206) 824-3440 or fill out our contact form.
